Almond Milk

Fresh homemade almond milk, with all the goodness of almonds and without any preservatives, additives, fillers etc. Quick and easy to make this recipe is a perfect non-dairy milk option.

Ingredients

Almond Milk

\1 cup of Almonds, with skin), soaked overnight in drinking water
\2 cups of Filtered water

Instructions

  1. Soak
    Soaked almonds for a couple of hours
  2. Drain the soaked almonds and rinse in clean drinking water.
  3. Blend
    Put almonds in a high speed blender.
  4. Pour 2 cups of water in the blender along with optional spices.
  5. Start blending gradually from low to high.
  6. Leave the blender on high continuously for 1 minute, maybe more depending on your blender. You should have consistency of milk.
  7. Strain
    Pour the milk through a sieve or a cheese cloth.
  8. Store
    Store the milk in a glass bottle for up to 5 days in the fridge.
