Description

Fresh homemade almond milk, with all the goodness of almonds and without any preservatives, additives, fillers etc. Quick and easy to make this recipe is a perfect non-dairy milk option.

Ingredients

Almond Milk

  • 1 cup of Almonds, with skin), soaked overnight in drinking water
  • 2 cups of Filtered water

Equipment

Instructions

  • Soak
    Soaked almonds for a couple of hours
  • Drain the soaked almonds and rinse in clean drinking water.
  • Blend
    Put almonds in a high speed blender.
  • Pour 2 cups of water in the blender along with optional spices.
  • Start blending gradually from low to high.
  • Leave the blender on high continuously for 1 minute, maybe more depending on your blender. You should have consistency of milk.
  • Strain
    Pour the milk through a sieve or a cheese cloth.
  • Store
    Store the milk in a glass bottle for up to 5 days in the fridge.
