Most people wash their fresh produce in running water for under 20 seconds, but is plain running water enough to really clean them?

On the farm Fruits and Vegetables are sprayed with insecticides, pesticides, herbicides and toxic chemicals which we ingest. These chemicals create havoc in our bodies and cause disease unless we take preventative measures.

Washing our fresh produce quickly in water will eliminate surface dust, germs and chemical residue but it will not remove stubborn harmful toxins, BAKING SODA will do that!

Baking Soda works wonders for removing most toxins and chemicals from fresh produce, here is how to use it!

• Put 1tbsp baking soda in 1 litre of water and mix so it dissolves
• Soak your fresh produce for 15 minutes, making sure they are covered in the solution
• Rinse in clean water and enjoy!
