The rich, creamy texture makes it my everyday go to milk and I am happy to share my easy recipe but first let’s understand why Almonds are an excellent source of:

MAGNESIUM, a mineral involved in over 300 biochemical functions in the body, such as bone development, muscle and nerve functions, energy production, regulating heartbeat rhythms and helping neurotransmitter functions.

BIOTIN, part of the B group of Vitamins is essential for healthy skin, hair and nails so lack of it can cause dry skin, brittle nails and fungal infections.

VITAMIN E, an excellent antioxidant (prevents cell damage) is much needed for cardiovascular health, cholesterol management, skin repair, PMS and more.

FIBER, no surprise the almond skin is packed with fibre that is so desperately needed by the gut and has a probiotic effect so it increases good bacteria in the digestive tract.

Almond milk is more beneficial then cow’s milk as it is more easily digested, has a higher nutrient value, is a better fat and does not increase mucus in the body.

BUT WAIT, don’t rush out just now to purchase the Almond Milk available in the stores. I have a better option that is low cost, preservative free and chock full of almonds, try the RECIPE, link below!
